THERE REALLY IS SOME VERY VERY OLD MOTORS.

WE WILL DEDICATE THIS PAGE TO THOSE PIONEERS OF OUR SPORT WHO SET ABOUT CHANGING THE FACE OF THE COMMON LAWN MOWER MOTOR.

Long before the "Specific" Go Kart motors appeared in our sport, some of our ingenious engineers went to work on our humble backyard lawn mower motors, Victa's, Villers, Hurricanes, and a variety of other readily available 2 stroke engines.

I know that some of our members are working on duplicates of some of the older motors, so Let's have some information guys??

THE REED VALVE VICTA.

VHKA Secretary, Glenn Gray is a very enthusiastic VICTA Fan and his reed valved victa has seen many many demonstrations at VHKA club meetings.

THE VERY REAL VICTA.

We have all seen the supberb resoration of Graeme BARWICKS Victa Sports Kart, the engine is "AS WAS" at that time.

VICTA ? / VILLERS ? / WHOKNOWS ???

THE FASTEST VICTA EVER ?

John GOODE, sent in these photos of an incredible piece of engineering from our past.

Motor was engineered and built by Mark MANSELL, is mounted on a Continental Chassis and with a bit of luck we may see Mark and the machine in action at one of our VHKA Meetings soon??

OK! OK! OK! THIS IS NOT AN OLD MOTOR.
