David Stein started it all going with his Maico powered Sam's kart, and now, Ross CHIPPERFIELD is hard at a Konig rebuild, and Graham BARWICH has a Maico under way, what else is laying around out there ?? ............... send in the details please.

This is what VINTAGE KARTING Is all about, Finding old equipment and then bringing it back to life!!

Graham BARWICK has an affinity with the MAICO as it was his father who used to import, sell, and race them in the "Old" Days.

And so this project has some very special meaning for him.

The Motor? a 175cc Maico from the early days of Australian Karting.

The Kart? an American DART Kart, a big favorite of the Day with Australian Karters.

For those that have seen Graham's restored VICTA, then you know the finished article here will be of a very High Standard.
